Ponderosans are a group of folks who love to square dance! Our club organized in June, 2010 under the tutelage of Ralph and Linda Goble. The first 25 students learned to square dance by our then club caller, Mark Hammett.

 For the first 5 years we danced “Up On The Mountain” at the Livermore Community Hall. Since then, we’ve moved to the Masonic Events Center in Fort Collins and expanded our membership to dancers from Red Feather Lakes, Livermore, Fort Collins, Loveland, Wellington, Johnstown, and Windsor.

We usually dance on the 4^th Sunday of the month beginning at 2:00PM with rounds cued by our club cuers, Mitchell and Chelsea Thompson. Squares follow at 2:30. We pride ourselves on presenting a robust selection of talented National and Local callers. Check out our current schedule in the Ponderosa News on this page.

We plan to conduct square dance lessons in January, 2025.  Come join our fun.  We can’t wait to get to know you!
